"We're glad with any support given to quickly handle TB in 65 urban villages in South Jakarta," he added.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta Administration and Community Welfare Assistant, Sayid Ali, appreciated the launching of TB Village in order to handle TBC.
"We are simultaneously launching the program today because there has been a Governor's Decree and Mayor's Instruction to jointly carry out TB control so that the target of eliminating TB in Jakarta can be achieved," he stated.
Ali appealed heads of sub-district, urban village, community cadre, health personnel, and other sectors to cooperate in handling TB well and report any indication of TB disease in the community.
"It is also hoped they will be able to invite private company's CSR to join in TB handling," he said.
